Sensory-Friendly World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ at The Funplex Mount Laurel
For the past 15 years, the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ has helped families around the world learn the importance of water safety. This year, The Funplex Mount Laurel is proud to continue that mission while bringing back our Sensory-Friendly Swim Lesson for a second year. After the success of last year’s event, we’re excited to once again offer this free 30-minute group swim lesson for children who may benefit from a calmer, more supportive learning environment. Designed to make water safety instruction more accessible and welcoming, this lesson helps swimmers build comfort, confidence, and important safety skills in the water.
What to Expect:
Sensory-Friendly Swim Lesson:
Participants will take part in a 30-minute group lesson in The Island pool, a reserved and welcoming space for sensory-friendly swimmers.
Supportive Instruction:
Swim instructors are trained and experienced in providing sensory-friendly interactions and instruction, helping swimmers build comfort and confidence at their own pace.
Free Participation & Parent Admission:
The swim lesson is completely free, and one parent or adult chaperone per registered child will receive free admission to the water park during the lesson time.
Extend the Fun:
Families can enjoy $10 off admission to The Funplex after their child’s lesson.
