The Funplex Mount Laurel Presents: The First Sensory Friendly World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™

For the first time ever, The Funplex Mount Laurel hosts two experiences in support of The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™, offering a sensory friendly lesson in its own pool (8-11 a.m., The Island) as well as a lesson for children without sensory friendly needs (9-11 a.m.). Families in and around the region are invited to participate in this global initiative to raise awareness about drowning prevention and give kids the skills to swim safely. The Funplex Mount Laurel proudly makes this day accessible to families with sensory consideration by offering quieter spaces, a designated lesson area, instructors experienced in sensory-friendly interactions, access to the park’s Sensory Room, and more. Swim lessons are free and will last approximately 30 minutes.
