Making Water Safety More Accessible for Every Family
Mount Laurel, N.J. and East Hanover, N.J. — The Funplex is proud to continue its commitment to water safety and inclusive family experiences with free swim lesson events on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at its Mount Laurel and East Hanover locations.
This year marks The Funplex Mount Laurel’s fifth year participating in The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™, a global event dedicated to teaching children and families the importance of water safety. The Mount Laurel event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and will include a free 30-minute swim lesson focused on helping children build confidence in the water while learning essential safety skills.
To make water safety more accessible, The Funplex will also host Sensory-Friendly Swim Lessons at both its Mount Laurel and East Hanover locations from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. These free 30-minute lessons are designed for children who may benefit from a quieter, more supportive environment, allowing them to learn at their own pace while building comfort, confidence, and important water safety skills.
The Mount Laurel Sensory-Friendly Swim Lesson returns for its second year, with British Swim School joining as this year’s swim partner to help support the program. Due to strong interest, the Mount Laurel session is currently on a waitlist.

Families participating in the swim lesson events will also receive $10 off all-day wristbands on June 25, giving guests the opportunity to extend the fun after their lesson. Registration is required for all swim lessons, and space is limited. Families are encouraged to reserve their spot or join the waitlist early.
