This fall, Funplex is bringing families together in the best way possible, with a bowling league designed just for parents and kids! The Parent & Child Bowling League is a four-week program that combines fun, learning, and just the right amount of competition. Whether you’re brand new to the lanes or a seasoned bowler, this league is the perfect opportunity to spend quality time with your child while meeting other families in the community.
The league kicks off on Friday, September 12, and runs through October 3, with weekly sessions from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Each team includes one parent and one child, ages five and up. For just $15 per person, per week, you’ll enjoy four weeks of bowling, instruction, and excitement. With only 12 team spots available, space is limited, making this a fun but exclusive experience.
Every Friday begins with warm-up time so everyone can shake off the nerves and get ready to roll. During the first week, our staff will also lead a short session on bowling basics, scoring, and safety, making sure all players feel comfortable before games begin. Each team will bowl two games per night, and Funplex staff will track scores and standings. To keep things fair and fun, we use a handicap system, so no matter your skill level, every team has a chance to climb the leaderboard.
At the end of the season, we’ll crown the League Champions, but the fun doesn’t stop there. We’ll also hand out awards like Most Improved Team, Highest Individual Game, and even Best Team Spirit to celebrate everyone’s efforts, not just the top scorers. And because every great season deserves a celebration, we’re hosting an End-of-League Party exclusively for league participants. Families can look forward to a private hour of laser tag, plus pizza and drinks for everyone. It’s the perfect way to wrap up four weeks of family fun and leave with even more unforgettable memories.
